The professional development grid has been compiled with the cooperation of curriculum supervisors in
the Atlantic City Public School District under the direction of Mrs. Donna L. Haye, Superintendent of
Schools and Ms. Sherry Yahn, Asst. Superintendent/C&I.

Disclaimer: 1. All classroom Aides will follow the regular classroom teachers to workshops. 2. Please
note sessions marked as mandatory. Appropriate staff must attend as indicated. 3. Bilingual teachers
grades K-3 are required to attend the Dyslexia workshop and choose one mathematics workshop. 4.
Bilingual teachers grades 4-8 choose one LAL and one mathematics workshop. 5. ESL teachers grades
K-3 are required to attend the dyslexia workshop and choose one LAL/Math workshop. 6. LAL
teachers grades 4-8 choose one LAL and one additional workshop. 7. Remember: Elementary teachers
are to choose one math and one literacy workshop.
