Arts of Ocean Shores Annual Open Art Show. Once
again the Fine Art Show will share the Ocean Shores
Convention Center with the Photography and
Electronic Media Shows so you can enjoy three shows
in one.

$10 per entry; or 6 entries for $50. AAOS members will
receive a 10% discount on entries. Youth, First entry free,
additional entries $3 Maximum of 6 entries per person.

Ribbons and cash will be awarded in all mediums. Youth
entries must be under 18 years of age and will be grouped
by age.
Fine Art is open to all mediums, including 3-D. There will be
no defined categories in Open Fine Art. Artwork must
arrive ready to display.

There will be no distinction between color and black
and white. AAOS reserves the right to combine
categories.
Electronic Media
Electronic Media is art created partially or totally
through the use of a computer. Components such as
photos and graphics must be the original work of the
submitting artist. Eligible artwork may include
photographs enhanced and artistically altered by
computer manipulation or by over-painting, drawing or
other creative means. Video work is not eligible. A brief
written description of techniques and software used must
accompany the entry.

Pick up hand-delivered art works
From 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
Shipped art works will be returned within two weeks.

Judging
All work will be judged by AAOS
committee along with recognized artists in
each Division. Results are not scored and
all decisions are final!
ELIGIBILITY
Entries must be original works, done entirely
by the entrant.
Entries must not be copies, in whole or in part,
of paintings or photographs by other artists.
Works produced in workshops or under
supervision are not eligible (except for youth
entries).
Entries may be submitted in more than one
Division.
Entrants accepted into the Juried Show may
only enter other Divisions or other media (in
Fine Arts) in the Open Show.
While utmost care will be taken to avoid
damage to entries, neither AAOS nor its
representatives nor the Convention Center will
be responsible for damage to or loss of art
works from any cause. AAOS is not
responsible for providing return postage or
shipping containers. After 10 days, unclaimed
entries become property of AAOS.

Work may be hand-delivered or shipped.
There is a $10 handling fee per artist for
shipped works. (Entrant pays shipping costs.)
Fine Art must be ready to hang with wire.
Gallery wrap is permitted.

Entry fee. Make checks payable in U.S.
funds to Associated Arts of Ocean
Shores.
CONDITIONS
All entries (except youth entries) should be for
sale. Associated Arts of Ocean Shores charges
a 20% commission.
Maximum six entries per person.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Fine Art: must have wire to hang, Max size 36”
x 36,” sculpture must be stable to stand alone.
Photography: must be mounted to Foam
Board, matting optional. Mounted size no
larger than 16” x 20.” Hanging is provided.
Electronic Media: must be mounted to Foam

Submittal of work constitutes a legal contract and
commitment on behalf of the artist to assure that, if
accepted for display, the art work will be available for
