ORDINANCE
To amend the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Ordinance, 1930 (Ordinance 16 of 1930) to provide that
nursing staff may be transferred from a state ho!;pital to a state-aided hospital and vice versa.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Legislative Assembly for
the Territory of South West Africa as follows:/
1. Section 25 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Ordinance, 1930 (Ordinance 16 of 1930) is hereby
amended by the addition after subsection (2) of the following subsection:-
"(3) Subject to the provisions of the Administration Employees Ordinance, 1957 (Ordinance 17
of 1957) and the regulations made thereunder and
of subsection (1) and subject to her consent, any
nurse in a state hospital may be transferred to a
state-aided hospital and any sister or nurse in
a state-aided hospital may be transferred to a state
hospital."
2. This ordinance shall be called the Hospitals and
Charitable Institutions Amendment Ordinance, 1969, and
shall be deemed to have come into operation on 30 November 1968.
