Simple and Revolutionary
Eat Better, Live Better
edibleFEAST celebrates local food culture season by season, community by community.
We focus on the people--farmers, fishers, chefs, vintners, and food artisans who live
and work the land. We give voice to local food inspirations, trends, and challenges.
We offer rare access to the most influential and interested food and drink enthusiasts,
all the while creating an authentic, vivid, enticing and enriching culinary experience.
Our Beginnings
Part Inspiration, Part Mission
Founded in 2002, edible Communities began in Ojai, California to document and bring to life
the rising interest in farm-to-table, organic & natural foods, to chronicle and celebrate the
people and communities who feed us and sustain us.
This simple and revolutionary concept has now manifested itself in over 80 markets across
North America, from big towns to little cities, and everywhere in between. From the West
Coast to the Great Plains to the rocky shores of New England, countless people discover the
simple pleasure that comes from eating fresh foods cultivated in living soil by people who
care about our local food systems.
Our brand honors those who are diligently working to create a world where the power of
good food can change our lives for the better.

Our Testimonials
Don’t Take Our Word For It...
QUALITY
TRUST
“Edible Publications are an ideal form of advertising for us. Their
passion-filled pages echo the message that we are trying to relay to
our community, that you can make a difference with the way you
eat. Their commitment to promoting and supporting small artisan
producers sets them apart from other food publications out there.”
—Sam Mogannam, Bi-Rite Market “Edible is the best publication around these days. Really. It’s
incredibly honest and informative.”
— Dan Barber, Blue Hill and Blue Hill at Stone Barns
“I just love reading [Edible Communities] publications cover to
cover - they are some of the best things I’ve ever read..”
— Julia Child
“The mission of the Edible publications supports the mission and
values of Whole Foods Market. It’s a great fit for our advertising
budget, it targets exactly those local residents we want to reach,
which makes it highly effective for us.”
— Angela Rakis, Whole Foods Market
INSPIRATION
I can’t keep copies of Edible San Francisco on my shelves for more than
five minutes before my customers wipe me out. It is the Bay Area’s
premier food publication, and has its finger on the pulse of all the local
food news and issues. As a bookseller, I see first hand how many people
are seeing my ad as the magazine flies out of the store quicker than I can
restock it!
