Attendees will be split into two groups and rotate through two sessions to open the
day. Extension Field Agronomists will provide crop scouting tips and tricks in one
session, and an overview of plant and pest samples available for students in the other.
These samples will be available throughout the course for students to return to and
review. Students will then attend general sessions that are shorter and focused on
specific crop scouting skills. The course concludes with a review session covering the
main concepts learned throughout the day. Iowa State University Extension Specialists,
Field agronomists, and staff members will be available to review samples and answer
questions.
