REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mongolia is announcing a Request for Proposal for
the provision of professional security services of 24-hour protection to the UN Compound at 14 United Nations
Street, Sukhbaatar district, Ulaanbaatar – 14201, Mongolia.

The following qualifications are expected for carrying-out the mentioned services. The Offeror has to:





Be an entity with Local Government permit to locate and operate in Mongolia as well as necessary
permits, licenses and certifications for security personnel and for use of radio and other specialized
security equipment;
Possess at least 5 years of uninterrupted relevant work experience, personnel no less than 120 persons;
Have current or previous experience in providing similar contracts to UN Agencies and/or International
Organizations, International Companies, of similar size to the requirement for the UN Official Compound
in Mongolia, or that of Embassies, within the last 5-year period;
Be able to offer a Team meeting the qualifications requirement indicated in the TOR;
Be in possession of specialized equipment that will contribute to the efficient provision of services
required in the TOR.
The Offerors are strongly recommended to thoroughly examine the bid solicitation document RFP/2015/003 in
preparing your technical and financial proposals. The pre-bid conference will be organized to provide information
related to RFP and respond to clarifications/questions at 15:00, 12 February 2015 in the Conference Room of the
UN House.
Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before 17:00, 23 February 2015, Ulaanbaatar time at the
below address.
