1. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Payments to your Visa will be posted according to applicable laws. Purchases may
not exceed your available credit. In order to qualify for the 0% APR, the Visa credit card must be a newly opened
Visa Signature account. The 0% APR on purchases will be in effect for the first nine months after the account is
opened, after which the rate will then revert to your regular standard APR. Rate is subject to change without notice.
Clearview Platinum, Student, Secured, Business Visa and Home Equity Visa cards are excluded. All loan approvals
are subject to normal underwriting guidelines. You must be at least 18 years old to apply. Offer ends January 31, 2015.
2. In order to qualify for the 10,000 bonus Elite Rewards Points, the Visa Signature credit card must be newly opened
and $1,000 must be charged to the Visa Signature card within the first 90 days of account opening. Once the
requirements have been met, the bonus points will post to the account at the next cycle date. Clearview Platinum,

The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
(VITA) Program offers free tax help to
people with low to moderate income
who cannot prepare their own returns.
Trained Credit Union volunteers can help
you prepare your basic federal tax return
and assist you with special credits. To see if
you qualify for free help with your federal
return, call (412) 507-5190 starting on
February 3, 2015.
Debit Purchase Rewards are now available and you can get cash back by using your
Clearview Debit card at the places you love!
All you need is a Clearview Checking account, Debit card and
Online Banking to start earning rewards. You can login to Online
Banking and scroll down to the Debit Purchase Rewards section,
located in the bottom right corner, to view your Debit Purchase
Reward offers. Here you’ll see offers for cash back from some
popular retailers, which you can simply click to activate on your
Clearview Debit card. After you shop at your selected retailers, the
cash will automatically be deposited into your checking account
each month for the rewards earned during the prior month.
Start by choosing rewards that interest you, then you’ll receive personalized offers based on your
spending habits.

Another great tax service we offer is
TurboTax. TurboTax is an easy-to-use tax
filing guide that helps you prepare your
taxes yourself. Use the TurboTax Free
Edition for simple returns such as the
1040EZ, or upgrade to the Deluxe Edition
if you are a homeowner, made donations in
2014 or have medical expenses.
When you access TurboTax through
Clearview’s Online Banking, you will be
taken to Clearview’s TurboTax site where
you can enjoy a discount on the TurboTax
Deluxe, Premier and Home and Business
Editions. For more information on how

Choose Your Colors!
I
n order to improve security on Clearview Debit card
transactions, all members who currently have
Clearview Debit cards will be mailed new cards in
2015 with added EMV Chip technology (Europay,
MasterCard and Visa). This technology, currently
Debit
featured in our new Elite Rewards Visa Signature®
Credit cards, includes computer chips that validate
payment card transactions. It provides
increased security on personal information during
transactions to prevent fraud. Your account information
will remain the same, and you will still be able to make
transactions as usual with the new cards.
In addition to extra security, our new Debit cards also
come with extra personal style! You now have the
chance to choose the colors of your card. Choose between our Black and Gold
card and our Clearview Blue card!
If you currently have a Clearview Debit card, you will receive an email from us in the near
future, allowing you to choose which design you’d like on your new debit card. You can
also select your card in any branch starting in January, 2015. Anyone who does not set a
preference will receive the Clearview Blue card.

way, every member will have the
opportunity to vote. Vacancies for two
positions on the Board of Directors are
open this year for three-year terms.
On November 3, 2014, Clearview FCU
was honored to receive CUNA Mutual
Group and CUNA Lending Council’s
Excellence in Lending Award. We were
extremely proud to be one of four
credit unions recognized nationwide
for exemplary lending at the CUNA
Lending Council’s 20th annual
conference in San Diego, California.

Nominations of Candidates by the
Nominating Committee
Nomination of candidates for the Board of
Directors positions must be made by the
Nominating Committee 90 days prior to
the convening of the Annual Meeting. The
Nominating Committee has nominated
the following for three-year terms:

No nominations will be permitted from
the floor at the Annual Meeting except in
the case that insufficient nominations for
the available vacancies are returned by the
committee and/or by petition.
Nominations by Petition Procedure
Applicants not nominated by the
committee and wishing to use the petition
procedure must submit their petitions for
nomination with Clearview by May 6, 2015.
Petitions for nomination must contain the
signatures of at least 500 members and
must be accompanied by a certificate from
the nominee stating that he/she is
agreeable to the nomination and will
serve if elected. In addition, to meet
printing deadlines, petitions must be
accompanied by a short resume (not
more than 75 words) containing
biographical data which will only be
published in the official candidate listing
and mailed with the ballot.
Special Notice: In the event that all
nominations result in a No Contest (only
one candidate nominated for each office),
in accordance with our bylaws and to
reduce costs, the ballots will not be mailed
out. Instead, the Parliamentary Rule will
apply whereby the nominees will be elected
by acclamation at the Annual Meeting.
