Annual Meeting Notice
The Annual Membership Meeting of
STAR Credit Union will be held on Tuesday, April 21,
2015 at the Corpus Christi Events Center located at
3126 Holly Rd. (at Kostoryz). More information will
be posted in the lobbies, on the website and in the
April Newsletter. There are four expiring director
positions that will be up in this 2015 year. The
Secretary letter can be found on the back of this
newsletter with the list of candidates.

The 2015 Annual Meeting of the members of South Texas Area Resources (STAR) Credit
Union will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 6:00pm. The meeting will take place at the
Corpus Christi Events Center, 3126 Holly at Kostoryz. This year the Nominating Committee
composed of Dennis Hill, Chairperson and committee members, Nina Amador and Joe
Carmona have selected the following candidates for the four (4) expiring terms:
Linda Edwards
Linda Edwards has been employed with CITGO Refining & Chemicals for 27 years and
is currently a Sr. Admin. Specialist. She has held the position of Secretary on the Safety
Awareness Committee and the United Way Committee. Linda was appointed to the Board
of Directors in 2009 and is currently holding the position of Secretary. Linda has been a
member of STAR Credit Union since 1989.
Diana Gonzalez
Diana has been employed with LyondellBasell as a Human Resources Assistant for 36 years.
Diana has committed herself to the credit union movement as a Board Member for 5 years
and is dedicated to her role as a director by keeping up with required training. Diana has
been a member of STAR Credit Union since 1987.
Hector Saenz
Hector has been employed with CITGO Refinery for 30 years and is currently a Process
Control Analyst. He has served on the STAR CU Board for 19 years and is currently holding
the position of Vice Chair. He has received VAP certificates of achievement for continuous
board member education and has served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls
Club of America. Hector has been a member of STAR Credit Union since 1983. He has
served on the City of Corpus Christi Civil Service Committee.
Randy Wilson
Randy has been employed with LyondellBasell for 31 years and is currently a Process Tech.
He was a volunteer at Equistar for the Emergency Response Team, has been involved
with other community projects and has worked on his VAP certificate of achievement for
continuous board member education. Randy has served on the Board since 2004 and has
been a member of STAR Credit Union since 1983.
Nominations other than those of the Nominating Committee may be made only by
petition by at least 25 credit union members in good standing. Each nominee with the
petition shall submit a brief statement of qualifications, biographical data and signed
agreement to serve. For forms and information, please contact Dennis Hill, Nominating

date for receiving nominations by petition shall be January 31, 2015.s
