Worked with the cofounder and press secretary to increase press shop capacity. Initial three month
fellowship extended twice. Responsibilities included managing website and social updates as well as
working with team in pitching stories, coordinating with email stream, responding to press queries
including on-the-record statements, reaching out to influentials, etc.

Full time position assisting the communications director as part of two-man press shop. Major tasks
included pitch calls to media, media monitoring, list management, writing press releases/advisories/

Assisted in preparation of research books, media monitoring, and footage management, among other
duties. Made trips to Capitol Hill for document collection. Performed original research and data
collection for use in both American Bridge and Bridge Project productions.
