ENTRY FEE: $25.00 for the first entry of a dog. Each additional entry of the same dog is
$15.00. Brace $30.00 Pair (All fees include $3.0 AKC event fee and $.50 recording fee).

Chicago, Inc, or the GSDTC of Chicago, Inc.
DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE: FROM THE NORTH: Take Barrington Road south to
County Farm Road. Continue south about 2 miles. GSDTC clubhouse (large red building is
on the left (East) side of the road. FROM THE SOUTH: Take County Farm Road north past
Schick Road. Continue North about 0.5 miles. GSDTC clubhouse (large red building) is on
the right (East) side of the road.

Entries will not be accepted without proper fees and signatures and must be on approved entry forms with
the agreement printed on the reverse side. Please TYPE or PRINT plainly all information on the entry
except the owner’s signature.
No entry fee will be refunded except those of bitches who come in season after the closing date. In those
cases, the entry fee is returned, less $7.00 by sending an original signed statement from a veterinarian to
the Trial Secretary by 8:00 AM the day of the trial.
No entry fees will be returned if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil
disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other causes
beyond the control of the German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago, Inc,
The show giving club assumes NO responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors,
handlers, or any of their dogs or property and assumes no responsibility for their children.
Awards must be claimed at the show. None will be mailed. Special awards are for Regular Classes only.
When the same dog is entered in more than one class, only the highest score will be eligible for special
awards.
The German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago, Inc. believes in responsible dog ownership. All
dogs must be on leash at all times, except when in the ring. Please use designated areas for exercising
your dog, and please clean up after your dog.
There is very limited crate space and seating. No dogs will be allowed on the show grounds that are not
entered in this trial. NO DOG under the age of six (6) months old is allowed on the show grounds.

There are no words worthy enough to express our feelings about Joe. He loved the German Shepherd
Dog breed and expressed it as a GSDTC member and at the trials he judged for us.

AGREEMENT
I (we), acknowledge that the “Rules Applying to Dog Shows” and, if this entry is for an obedience trial, the
“Obedience Regulations”, have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are)familiar with their
contents. I (we) waive any and all claims, causes of action, I (we) might otherwise have against the AKC and
any AKC approved judge, judging at this show, under AKC Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. I (we) agree
that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club
shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or
obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies. I
(we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents
or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties
harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to
any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or
near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I
(we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by
disappearance, theft, death, or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such
loss, disappearance, theft, damage, or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club
or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause of causes.
I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties
harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law
upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time
resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of
damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show or obedience trial,
howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have
been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of
their employees or agents, or any other persons.

(Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please
designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB,
particolor); Beagles (not exceeding 13”in., over 13” in., but not exceeding 15” in.); Dachshunds
(longhaired, smooth, wirehaired); Collies (rough, smooth); Bull Terriers (colored, white); Fox Terrier
(smooth, wire); Manchester Terriers (standard, toy); Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat); English Toy
Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Bienheim and Prince Charles); Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are
Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the
requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of
unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of
the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
(Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list if the dog show class in which you are
entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of
the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.
A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show
closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new
owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new
owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on
entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to A.K.C. (For complete rule refer to Chapter
