By participating in these promotions, all Consumers agree to be bound by the terms

How to participate? – The promotions commence on 02 February 2015 and end on 28
February 2015.
These promotions exclude the purchase of Airtime, Cigarettes. Condoms, Electricity, Fuel
and LPG Gas. Customers may purchase promotional items as often as they would like
within the promotional period, while stocks last.

General – The promoter of the monthly promotions is BP and/or its agencies
(“Organisers”). The Organisers and Sponsors will interpret the Rules in their sole discretion
and reserve the right to amend the Rules at any time.
The Organisers and Sponsors, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents,
consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or
any supplier of goods and services in connection with the campaign and their spouses, life
partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates are not eligible to
participate in or enter the promotion. No participation is valid until a validation process
determined by the Organisers and Sponsors has taken place. Unclear and illegible
purchases containing errors will be declared invalid.
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, the consumer accepts the
promotion at his/her own risk and the Organisers and Sponsors will not be liable for any
additional costs incurred by the consumer participating in the promotion. Free items are not
transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Organisers and Sponsors will be final and
binding and no correspondence will be entered into. By participating in the promotion and/or
accepting any give away, the consumer hereby indemnifies, releases and holds harmless
the Organisers and Sponsors (including their subsidiaries, holding companies and affiliates),
their directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors (“Organiser Parties”) from
and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting
in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the promotion, and/or the use,
acceptance or possession of the promotion, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a
prize-related activity.
The Organisers and Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any give away with another
item of similar value. The Organisers and Sponsors will interpret the Rules in their sole
discretion and reserve the right to amend the Rules at any time. The Organisers and
Sponsors reserve the right to require the consumers to complete and submit an information
disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Organisers and Sponsors to ensure
compliance with these Rules. Should any of the consumers be found not compliant with
these Rules, he/she shall be automatically disqualified.
The Organisers and Sponsors reserve the right to terminate the promotion with immediate
effect, without notice. In such event, all participants hereby waive any rights which they
may have against the Organisers and Sponsors and/or any of the parties identified above
and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature against such parties.
The duration of the promotion may also be extended or curtailed at the sole discretion of the
Organisers and Sponsors. The Organisers and Sponsors may in their sole discretion amend
these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) shall be
deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and condition
on the www.bp.co.za site.
The Organisers and Sponsors may require the participant (at no fee) to be identified,
photographed, filmed and the aforegoing to be published in any media, subject to the
consumer’s right to decline participating in any such marketing activities. The Organisers
and Sponsors are not liable for any technical failure that may result in the promotion not
being successfully submitted. Any give away is accepted by the consumer at his/her own
risk.
All participants and the winners and/or their legal guardians (as the case may be) indemnify
the Organisers and Sponsors, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents,
suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature
whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way whatsoever in this
promotion (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of gross
negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Organisers and
Sponsors and/or prizes won pursuant to this Competition).
Customers that have won in any BP Express Competition in the past six months will not be
eligible to win again.
