Technology Fundraiser
st
Shop at Giant? When you use your shopper’s card at Giant through March 21 , our Technology Department will earn
cash back. Simply register your shopper’s card with CCS’s number (03968). Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to
register their cards, too. To view your account, confirm that you’ve selected Collegium, or to register, please visit
http://www.giantfoodstores.com/aplus/. If you’re new to the program, select Customer Registration. Registering for this
program does not negatively impact any other Giant bonus programs.
Help CCS’s Technology Department
Here’s an easy way to help CCS’s Technology Department raise money…without buying anything! CCS’s Technology
Department has a recycling program for empty laser/inkjet cartridges and used cell phones. Drop off the products in the
collection boxes near CCS’s main offices. CCS sends the cartridges and phones to Funding Factory and in exchange,
CCS earns cash or our choice of technology products! Not only can you send in your cartridges, but you can ask family,
neighbors, and local businesses to help, too. Funding Factory will send each supporting business free prepaid shipping
labels for the return of collected cartridges and cell phones. Items donated by these supporting businesses will also be
credited to Collegium! Need your personal information removed from your cell phone before donating? Contact Mrs.
Leach at [email protected].
Two Ways to Shop & Earn $$$ for the CCSHSA
Shoparoo: It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 (#1 Shop, #2 Snap, #3 Earn). Shoparoo is a free iOS and Android app that turns
pictures of your shopping receipts into donations to Collegium. It's quick, easy, and convenient – shop anywhere you want
and buy whatever you normally buy. Take a moment to snap a quick picture of your receipt, submit it to Shoparoo, and
voila you've made an instant cash donation to Collegium. That's it – no clipping, collecting, following up, or asking anyone
for money!
Amazon Smile: Designate CCS as your donor choice on Amazon Smile and 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases
will be donated to CCS.
Shop for your Amazon purchases at www.smile.amazon.com. AmazonSmile is the same
Amazon you know…same products, same prices, and same service. Visit www.smile.amazon.com, log in using your
Amazon account information, select CCS as your charity, and start shopping. It's as easy as that! Prime members will still
receive the same benefits. Shop while you donate, at no cost to you. When you shop, Amazon gives! Questions?
Contact [email protected].
2015-2016 School Year
If your family’s plans for 2015-2016 change (moving, change of schools, etc.), please alert Collegium as soon as you’ve
made the decision. Our open enrollment period is underway and we’ll start enrolling and wait listing students in late
January. The sooner a current family advises us of their plans, the sooner we can enroll a new student for 2015-2016.
Please do not rely on a new school to tell us…they often don’t reach out for a records transfer until after our upcoming
school year begins. As you can imagine, planning for students who don’t show up wreaks havoc on Collegium’s planning
and budget. If your child is not returning for 2015-2016, please contact Mrs. Novak at [email protected]. Your decision will
not impact your child’s 2014-2015 experience at Collegium.
Community Opportunities
While CCS is not endorsing these or any other programs that occur outside CCS, we pass along information on community
opportunities that CCS families may want to explore.
Children’s Dance Workshop: The Henderson Dance Team is hosting this workshop for students in grades K-5 on March
th
7 . For more info., visit: http://home.wcasd.net/pages/West_Chester_Area_SD/Community_Bulletin_Board/Community.
All content for the newsletter must be submitted by 4:00pm on Thursdays via email to [email protected]. The Community Opportunities section will not
include information about non-CCS fundraisers or information from for-profit companies. CCS reserves the right to edit submissions and deny material
for submission if deemed inappropriate or if it is determined to be of little or no interest to CCS families.
