2015 Abby's Closet Prom Gown Giveaway Event
In 2014 Abby's Closet was able to provide dresses to more than 2500 young women in Oregon, Southwest
Washington & beyond.
This year's event will be held March 28-29 at the Oregon Convention center in Portland.
Senior Photos for yearbook are due April 3, 2015. We must have them by this date to get the pages done before our
deadline with the printer. So please plan ahead. If you want us to take your photo, we will be glad to. Contact

The employment for Education program is a an excellent opportunity for students to earn money during vacation and
summer breaks from college. This award is available to 2 & 4 -year college bound students. Completed applications

Chinese American Citizens Alliance National Essay Contest
Scholarship awards:
Open to students attending high school in Oregon. This essay contest is open to all students regardless of their
ancestry.

Tiffany Wang Arts Scholarship
Scholarship is available to a non-senior student (grades 9th-11th) who are interested in attending a summer arts
program.
Two student will be selected to each receive $500.00 towards a summer arts program.See information for eligibility.

Abby's Closet Scholarship
Enter to win a $1,000 scholarship! Applications are due by FEBRUARY 27, 2015. Tell us about your dreams and
aspirations for the future. The applicant that best embodies the spirit and mission of Abby's Closet will receive a
$1,000 scholarship award and attend a private giveaway to select their perfect gown and accessories. If you have any
issues with transmitting your application, please email [email protected]. Winner will be selected and
applicants notified by March 17. Winner must be available to select a prom gown on Friday, March 27 at the Oregon
Convention Center and on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 a.m. for the opening of the Prom Gown Giveaway.

First class Scholar 2015
The TBCC First Class Scholar Program 2015 is a tuition scholarship available to qualified Tillamook County high school
graduates. As long as the student maintains his or her eligibility, Tillamook Bay Community College will award a
tuition scholarship courses directly needed for the student’s declared degree/major for Fall, Winter, and Spring terms
for 2015 and 2016 years or until the student earns his or her first degree, whichever comes first. Students must be on
one of two First Class Scholar Options. Selection for the TBCC First Class Scholar Program will be done on the basis of
the completion date of the application and essay. Applications are available in the NJSHigh Office. Starting February
2, 2015, closing April 3, 2015.
Better Business Bureau Scholarship
Better Business Bureau has launched a $10,000 scholarship this year for high school students in the northwest.
The premise is fun and simple: students apply by creating a 90 second video on how Better Business Bureau promotes
consumer protection and marketplace trust. The winner will receive the check during halftime at the Moda Center by
the Trail Blazers in March!
It's an exciting opportunity since applicants will be limited to only students in Alaska, Washington and Oregon. This
means, your students stand a great chance to win! But they can't win if they don't apply so we're hoping you'll help
us spread the word.

The Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility announces our seventh annual Greenfield Peace Writing Scholarship
for $1000, the 2nd $750 and 3rd for $500. Any 11th or 12th grade Oregon high school student may enter by
submitting an original essay , poem, or narrative work. Entry forms, suggested resources, and all peace writing

Friends of Cape Meares Lighthouse & Wildlife Refuge, Inc.
Bus and Delena Engsberg Scholarship
The Friends of Cape Meares Lighthouse & Wildlife refuge, Inc. is offering a $1000 scholarship to any Tillamook County
high school graduate, or Tillamook Bay Community College student preparing to continue his/her eduction through a
community college, or a four year college or university. Applications are available in the NJSHS Office. Deadline is
April 1, 2015.
Tillamook County 4-H Scholarships:
Tillamook County 4-H Leader's Association Scholarship will award one or more scholarships up to $500.00.
4-H TCCA Ice Cream booth Volunteer Scholarships - will award one or more scholarships of up to $100/year for
volunteering
at the 4-H/TCCA Fair Ice Cream Booth will be awarded.
Project Leadership Scholarships will award one or more scholarships up to $400.00 for members who have exhibited
continued
leadership and or citizenship at the county level in their project area, above and beyond participating at fair.

Oregon PTA's Teacher Education Scholarship
This scholarship is for an Oregon resident studying for a teaching degree at an Oregon public university or college.

Hasson / Newman Memorial Scholarship Fund
Awarded to an Oregon High School seniors for their use as full time students at any Oregon accredited public, private

Tillamook Branch, American Association of University Women Scholarship 2015-2016
AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
There are two scholarships available one for a graduating high school senior up to $1500, the second for a continuing
university student of $2500. The scholarship application is available online at http://tillamook-or.aauw.net and in the
NJSHS Office.
Application Deadline is February 17th, 2015.
Frank Roberts Memorial Scholarship for Graduating Seniors
The recipient of the Frank Roberts Memorial scholarship for Graduating High School seniors will receive a $2000
award to be applied to an institution of higher learning. Winners will be asked to provide proof of enrollment from a
Head Start Program in order for OHSA to issue scholarship checks. Application information is available in the NJSHS
Office. Deadline is May 6, 2015.
