Thank you so much to all the parents who are
dropping their children off at the bottom of the stairs.
This is enabling classes to start at 9.00am and several
children have said they enjoy being more independent
and coming in themselves!
Can we also ask that parents wait at the bottom of the
stairs if picking up children from clubs. Staff will
bring the children down to you rather than parents
waiting outside classrooms. It can get a little confusing
with children who are attending our After School Club
for child care and those at other clubs, so we hope by
waiting in one place we will know who is where!
Thank you to those parents who have popped in to see
us about claiming for free school meals/ pupil
premium. We really appreciate your support.
Paws for a Book

Health Related Behaviour Survey

February.

PTA
Club 49
Congratulations to Lucy Corriveau who won £19.50. Good luck to everyone who participates this week
We will soon be holding a committee meeting to organise the following events:
*Cake Sale & 2nd Hand Uniform Stall: will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 12th February. We need donations of
unwanted school uniform as well as lots of cakes, please.
*Table Top Sale: More details to follow but this is an ideal opportunity to have a good post-Christmas clear out of those overflowing cupboards!
We are always looking for more people to get involved so please contact Debby [email protected] or 01598 710556 if you
can help in any way with PTA events.
Community News
PRE-SCHOOL
The children have been putting out lots of food for the birds in our Bunnies Burrow willow den this week and recording how
many times we have had to refill the feeders. The children have been working on sounds and the letter this week was 'S' and next
week, we will be work on the sound 'A'. Our Sainsbury's Active Kids post box is up and ready in the foyer for those who shop at
Sainsbury's and would kindly like to donate their vouchers to the Pre-School.
Pre-School is open Monday – Friday between 8am and 5pm and accepts Early Years Funding, where 3/4yr olds can access 15
hours of childcare a week. We are also an approved setting to accept 2gether funding for 2yr olds. If you would like further
information or wish to arrange a visit to view our setting, please contact us on 01598 710019 or email us at:[email protected]
BABY AND TODDLER GROUP
We meet every Wednesday between 9.30am and 11.30am in the Village Hall, welcoming babies and toddlers from birth to 5
years old. Children can socialise and play in a safe and friendly environment. For further information about the group, please
contact Bratton Fleming Pre-School on 01598 710019.
Best wishes
