a PAL/ILP or a Canine Partners listing number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word “dog” is
used in these regulations it includes both sexes.
Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible, and neither are bitches in season, aggressive
dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance. No
dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2
of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of register-able breeds that may participate.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites,
any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
REFUNDS: A complete refund will be given, for any reason, if withdrawal notice is received before the closing
date and time. After closing, a refund of entry fees, less $10/day, will be given for any bitch that comes into
season, provided that written notification from a veterinarian is provided to the Trial Secretary before its first
scheduled run of the weekend. A refund of one-half the entry fees will be given for dogs that are injured,
provided a veterinary certificate is provided AND notification is received by the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes
before the dog is scheduled to run in its first run of the weekend. No other refunds will be given after closing
with the exception as stated under Friday - Wait List on p. 3. No refunds will be given for amounts less than $10.
COURSE FAMILIARIZATION AND WARM-UPS
Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of the class. A walk -through period
will be held prior to each class. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, shall be provided for all exhibitors.

Confirmation of entry will be sent after it is received and processed. CHECK this for any errors and notify the trial secretary if
there are any errors BEFORE the closing date. PLEASE be aware that NO modifications to an entry may be made after the trial

CLASSES AND DIVISIONS
It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to enter the dog in the correct class. The Trial Secretary cannot make any changes (except
for move-ups as noted) after the closing date of the trial. Be sure to check your entry form and confirmation letter carefully
and make certain you have entered the correct classes. NOTE: Do NOT enter a class “higher” than you are eligible for on the
assumption you will complete a title before this trial. “Move-downs” after the closing date for entries are not allowed. If this is
your first entry in Preferred class you must start in the Novice class, or if you have not yet used your one-time lateral transfer
the dog may enter in the same level as it runs in the regular classes but must jump 4” lower. A complete set of rules for all

LYNDEN AND NORTHWEST WASHINGTON FAIRGROUND FACILITIES
Lynden is a quiet town located about 20 minutes north of Bellingham. Its Dutch heritage was established as settlers from Holland
began to arrive in the early 1900s. The results of their hardy work ethic are still seen today in the area's successful dairy and berry
farms, plus its well-maintained homes. The city provides full services, food and shops. Many of these are located within an easy walk
of the trial site, and camping is available on-site in a park-like setting with water, power and dump station.
Acres of manicured grass for long walks and a large but secluded streamside off-lead play park just to the west and below the
Fairgrounds area are a few of the amenities that this trial site offers. Dogs must be on leash at all times on the Fairgrounds
property.

Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper
height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump
height division higher or lower than their proper height division.
All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be
measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by
the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the
exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.
Dogs listed in the AKC Canine PartnersSM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club’s option. These
dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box.
Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior
Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767. If the Junior Handler is not the owner
of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship of the Junior Handler to the Owner?
