Application Process
Anglo kills College provides learning and training opportunities at many levels. We have a
wide range of courses from Level 1 to Level 7. All courses are available from certificates levels,
Higher National Diplomas (HND) leading to final year Bachelor Degrees, all in one
institution!
We have a variety of accredited training programmes for you to choose from in many areas,
including Business, IT, Law, Accountancy, Customer Service, Food Safety, Team Leading,
PTTLS and many more.
We aim to provide courses to our students that can increase their knowledge, prospects and
sense of achievement. We strive to maximize the academic success of each individual and
offer a wide range of courses leading to internationally recognised qualifications.

Our mission is to establish strong academic foundations, achieve outstanding examination
results and engender a mature and independent attitude to take advantage of lifes

We shall notify you once we have received your application documents. Upon acceptance
onto our courses we shall send you an ‘Offer Letter’.
We recognise that education is vital in developing skills needed for a productive society and
essential in promoting the individuals sense of worth, values, and high ethical standards.
The college is committed to offer education that meets the needs of its
standards and assisting them in clarifying and pursuing their
professional and educational goals.
When receiving this letter you will need to check that all the information is correct and that
you pay the full deposited amount to ensure your place onto the course.
Once we receive the full fees stated in our ‘Offer Letter’ we will then issue an official
‘Confirmation of Acceptance’ which is required for Study Permit.

Edexcel BTEC-HNC & HND Business Level Courses
BTEC HNC & HND Business Level Courses offer a strong emphasis on practical skills,
alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding in their sector. Learners
are attracted to this strong vocational programme of study that meets their individual
progression needs, whether this is into employment or to further education.
HNC Business Studies (Level 4)
Equivalent to the first degree year at university the BTEC Higher National Certificate in
Business is a 8 unit qualification, 4 of which are core units and 4 chosen optional units.

The HNC Business Qualification credit value is a minimum of 120 credits.
These units in Business provide a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the
key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the sector.

HND Business Studies (Level 5)
Equivalent to the second degree year at university the BTEC Higher National Diploma in
Business is an 8 unit qualification. The qualification offers endorsed title routes in Finance,
Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Leadership and Law.
The Level 5 HND in Business is a qualification with a minimum of 240 credits of which 125
are mandatory core. The programme must contain a minimum of 125 credits at level 5.

Entry Requirements:
For Learners who have recently been in education, the entry profile is likely to include one of
the following:
An AVCE/GNVQ in an appropriate vocational area
A BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in Business Studies

An Access to Higher Education Certificate
English Level IELTS 5.0 Overall or Equivalent
Progression Route:
Learners who complete a HND Business can then apply to do their final year at any UK
University to gain a Bachelors Degree in Business or similar subjects. As we are in partnership
with the University of Ulster, Anglo Skills College Students can get automatic admission to
complete their final year Bachelor’s Degrees.

Edexcel BTEC Strategic Management & Leadership (Level 7 - QCF)
BTEC Level 7 Professional Qualifications in Strategic Management & Leadership are designed
to provide focussed and specialist vocational short courses, with a clear work related emphasis.
There is a strong emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of
requisite knowledge and understanding in the sector.
This course is particularly suitable for mature learners who wish to follow a short programme
of study that is directly related to their work experience or to an aspect of employment that
they wish to move into in due course
On successful completion of these qualifications, national recognition by employers enables
learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study in the vocational
area.
Learners are able to progress across the range of Level 7 qualifications, from Award to
Certificate, to Diploma, to extend Diploma. These BTEC qualification also support Continuing
Professional Development (CPD), as well as enabling sideways progression to Masters
Degrees, such as an MBA or a NVQ Level 7 in Management.
OCR Management (Level 7)
The Management Level 7 qualification at Anglos Skills College is intended for managers who
are responsible for the control of activities and work output of other managers. Suitable across
all occupations and sectors of employment, candidates will gain the ability and the
opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management skills, for example improving
organisational performance, providing leadership, encouraging innovation, developing a
strategic business plan, managing risk, planning the workforce, managing a programme of
complementary projects.
International Foundation Year (IFY)
The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a one year pre-university qualification, including a
significant degree of English language teaching. The qualification is designed to provide you
with an entry route to UK university courses of progression onto the NCC Education Level 4
Diplomas in computing, Business and Business IT.
The IFY aims to improve your general and academic English Language ability, enhance your
study skills and cultural understanding and introduce you to academic study in English in the
fields of computing and/or business at a suitable level.
The IFY is usually aimed at International students who have successfully completed exams with
an IELTS level of 5.0. Students who complete an IFY are guaranteed a place in many UK
Universities who accept foundation course graduates.
English Language School
Anglo Skills College is well known for its English Language Courses. Since 2010 we have
trained over 300 students locally and internationally to improve their reading, writing,
listening and speaking skills. Our summer course packages are very popular and competitive
in the international market.
We have ran separate language classes for women, IELTS preparations and fast track English
Language courses for academic purposes. We are very flexible with time and days and aim to
meet the needs set by the individuals. We have many General English Language courses from
