Conditions of Entry and Sale
1. Entries must be accompanied by entry fees. Cheques payable to S I
Sale account.
2. Vendors must be members of the Black & Coloured Sheep Breeders
Assn of N Z.
3. Sheep will be inspected in the pens for wool and confirmation prior
to the sale All rams will be inspected by a veterinarian for
reproductive organs only.
4. Only rams from a “Brucellosis Free” flock will be accepted for sale.
Current certificate or copy to accompany entry form.
5. Any sheep not passed by the veterinarian or inspectors must be
removed from the pens.
6. Only sheep entered in the sale will be permitted on the grounds on
the day of the sale.
7. All sheep offered for sale will be natural condition in accordance with
BCSBA rules

8. All sheep offered for sale must have been shorn between July 20
st
and December 1 2014
9. The sale will b e conducted under the rules of the N Z Stock and
Station Agents Association.
10. No sheep may be removed from the yards without a delivery docket
obtained after payment.
11. Every lot will be the responsibility of the purchaser at the fall of the
hammer.
12. Entry fees – Ram $15, Ewes $8, Lambs $5 per head. Ram – one per
pen, Ewes $ Lambs – single or paired per pen, sold per pen with the
option.
13. An Animal Status Declaration form must accompany all stock sold.
14. Selling order for sections will be listed on the front page.
15. Registered sheep will be offered first in each section.
16. Please give details of registered stock on entry form
17. Any sheep which is offered for sale under special conditions – e.g.
part share only, retention of a store of semen, prior sale of semen,
sale of semen rights, shall have this and all necessary information
stated on the entry form and entered in the catalogue in precise
terms and concise form. This information shall also be displayed on
the pen and announced by the actioner when the sheep enters the
ring.
18. The sale will be conducted GST exclusive.
19. All sales of passed in stock to be directed through the Auctioneers
20. Sale Committee reserves the right to alter any of the above any time
it sees fit.

Welcome
It is with pleasure I welcome everyone to the New Zealand
Black & Coloured Sheep Sale, formerly the annual South
Island Sale. There is a good line up of well bred stock
available at this sale.
The wide selection pf quality rams gives an opportunity for
buyers country wide to participate.
The sheep presented for sale will be subject to veterinary
and breed inspection and all vendors are members of the
Black & Coloured Sheep Breeders Association of NZ. Top
quality stock is available with a breeding history going
back for thirty five years.
The sale will follow a similar format to last year with the
viewing of sheep from 11.30 am
Refreshments are available during the day, We wish you all
a successful sale.
