Dear Roseland Families,
Welcome to the 2014-15 academic
school year! It is such a joy to see the
smiling faces of our students, teachers,
principals, and staff members! The
school year is off to an amazing start!
As the Superintendent of the Roseland
School District, I could not be more
proud to be the educational leader of
our students, families, and our community of this beautiful district.
Here is a little history about my career
within the Roseland School District. I
began seventeen years ago as a volun-
teer at Sheppard Elementary while
attending Sonoma
State University.
Throughout
my
years in Roseland,
I’ve taught children
in the first, second,
third, and seventh
grade.
In 2003, I became
the first Assistant
Principal of Roseland Accelerated Middle School and
soon began as Roseland University
Prep’s Founding Principal. I served
as the Principal of RUP for seven
years and then transitioned to help
expand the Roseland Charter Programs onto the former Ursuline
campus now proudly known as
Roseland Colleg iate
Prep. I have been a part
of the Roseland School
District for seventeen
years and I could not
think of being in a more
innovative and inspiring
place to work. I promise to do my best to
ensure that all of our
students obtain the best
education possible!
I am looking forward to an incredible year together and many more
to come.
