The Kingdom Heirs
at ROBC Family Life Center
February 6, 2015
Doors open at 6:00 pm; Concert starts at 7:00 pm
a Love Offering will be received
Dear Friends:
What an amazing and blessed opportunity God has provided
for us. Our new Family Life Center is now complete and we
have started to reap the benefits of such a fine facility. There are so many people to thank,
because the construction of such a building requires a collaborative effort. Many of you
sacrificed untold hours of your personal time to help. So, on behalf of ROBC may I once again
say, thank you.
On Friday evening, February 6th we host our first big event in the FLC when the “Kingdom
Heirs,” will perform a live concert. This is expected to be a huge event. Here is how you can
help: (1) We are not selling tickets; instead the singers are receiving a love offering that will be
received at the concert;
therefore, realize you’re attending a concert and think about the
usual cost of a ticket and please give accordingly; (2) If at all possible carpool to the church.
We expect a crowd so the fewer cars the better; (3) Pray for the concert and especially the
“Kingdom Heirs,” remember they don’t just entertain; they share the good news about Jesus.
Someone might be saved that night and furthermore, this is a grand opportunity to invite a lost
friend or colleague to attend. Finally, be thankful for the blessings of song and music.
Everyone has music preferences; music is our love language as it’s expressed to God. So,
whether it is gospel music, choral music, contemporary music or singing in the shower what
are you saying to Christ? Hopefully, it is “thank you Jesus for saving my soul.”
We sincerely appreciate every expression of care and concern during our mother and
grandmother’s sickness and passing. Your prayers and practical acts of kindness sustained us
through a difficult summer and fall. Madgie Macklin felt blessed to serve God through Red Oak
Baptist Church. May we keep that spirit alive everyday!
Dorothy, Audrey & Suzy Pearce
Thank you for the recent donation! We are putting it towards travel for Avery’s next surgery in Boston in
January.
With grateful hearts, The Knight Family (Avery)
Thank you for allowing Lighthouse Baptist Church to be the recipient of the 84 hymnals that were no longer
being used by Red Oak Baptist Church. We had the opportunity to use them for the first time as a congregation
on Sunday, Dec. 7, and what a blessing it was! We sincerely appreciate the gift you have given and we will be
using them for some time to come with the full realization that God has used the congregation of ROBC to bless
His children. We remember the church in prayers of thanksgiving and pray for His blessings on you and the
congregation.
Serving Him with Passion, Rev. Allen Williams
Thank you for the various donations to our Holiday Project. We are overwhelmed by your giving spirit. With
your help and others in the community, our school helped over forty children for Christmas. May God continue
to bless each of you.
Swift Creek School Staff
