Dear Competitor,
Thank you for your entry for the 2015 Colm Quinn BMW Galway International Rally. Your entry has
been accepted.

LATE ENTRIES ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED.
Recce
Pace note making takes place on Saturday 31st January, Sunday 1st February, Thursday 5th
and Friday 6th February between 9am and 5pm. Please respect the residents on the stages
and obey the 40kph speed limit. Last admission into any stage is 4.30pm. Three passes only
per stage. You must sign on between 08.30am and 12pm on each day that you intend to
recce. Recce sign is in the Ballybrit Suite, Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway.
Licence / IRDS
Both driver and co-driver must produce current competition licences at recce sign on.
Please ensure that driver has current IRDS / BRDS letter of acceptance in time for
Documentation Scrutiny. NO LETTER NO START!!!

Mechanical Scrutiny / Parc Ferme
Mechanical Scrutiny will take place in Colm Quinn BMW on the Tuam Road, Galway from 2pm
until 7pm on Friday 6th February 2015.
Scrutiny slots will be posted on http://www.galwayinternationalrally.ie
Parc Ferme / Trailer Park is located in City East Business Park (see attached map). It is
important that all cars use the following procedure when unloading competition cars for
scrutiny.
1. You must proceed directly to the unloading area as per the attached map.
2. After unloading the rally car you will be directed as to when to bring the
car to mechanical scrutiny by a marshal.
3. After Mechanical Scrutiny, the car must be driven directly to Parc Ferme.
4. Both crew members must attend documentation scrutiny in the Ballybrit
Suite, Clayton Hotel within 30 minutes of completing mechanical scrutiny.
Mechanical Scrutiny takes place from 14.00hrs – 19.00hrs.
Documentation Scrutiny will close at 19.30hrs sharp.

Ceremonial Start
The following crews are required to attend the Ceremonial Start On Friday 6th February at 8pm
in Eyre Square.

Drivers Briefing
Drivers Briefing for International, National and Historic crews will take place in the Ballroom of
the Clayton Hotel on Saturday 7th February at 08.30hrs sharp.

Re-seed forms will be available at Documentation Scrutiny and must posted in the reseed box
in the Ballybrit Suite before 19.30hrs on Friday 6th February.

Service area is located in the Gort Livestock Mart on both Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th
February.
Service area will open at 7.30am on both days
All vehicles must be parked by 9am.
Please respect the residents in the vicinity of service.
All competition cars must use a large non porous service mat.
Penalty for not using a mat or littering the service area is two minutes
Strictly no parking on the main road outside service.
Please dispose of all rubbish in service using the bin bags provided in your pack and place in
the skip in the service area.
There is a one way system in operation in service at all times.
Clonakilty Black Pudding Irish Tarmac Rally Championship
The TROA Manager Kevin O Riordan will be in attendance at scrutiny
Junior Rally
Mechanical Scrutiny for Junior competitors will take place on Saturday 7th February from 4.30pm-6pm
at the Clayton Hotel in the underground car park.
Documentation Scrutiny will take place in the Ballybrit Suite in the Clayton Hotel from 4.30pm until
6.pm.
Drivers Briefing will take place at 6pm Saturday 7th February in the Bridge Suite, Clayton Hotel
