Under general supervision of the ITSS Service Desk Manager, the Service Desk Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the
Information Technology Support Service (ITSS) Service Desk provides technical support to campus users over the phone,
through e-mail and voice-mail, and walk-in traffic. This position provides work lead direction to, and supports, the Service
Desk student employees. The incumbent will schedule student employees work hours to maintain optimal service desk
operations; provide student employee training, mentoring, evaluations, discipline, hiring, payroll, etc.; provide technical
assistance for supported applications; evaluate/support computer based software applications as directed; provide general
support for approved technical projects as assigned; and generally assist other technical staff, student staff and users as
