2014 CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS
AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
As many of you have come to learn, the IRS no longer accepts cancelled checks as proof of charitable
contributions. If audited, the IRS will request an official statement from the charitable organization
(church) you contributed to. Those of you who use
the parish envelope system may request such a letter
from our parish by completing the following form and
dropping it into the collection basket any time you are
at Mass. You may also contact Laraine in the parish
office. (268-4464)
St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Cinder Road in Garnerville has a very peaceful and fulfilling adoration chapel
which is open to all interested parishioners in Rockland
County. Since 2004, many people who enjoy having
quiet and personal time with the God they love have
visited. Lots of good decisions and renewed commitment come from being alone with Jesus. We invite you
to be present at this time while the Blessed Sacrament
is exposed on the altar. This may prove to be the most
tranquil and rewarding hour of your day. If you think
you would like to commit to an hour's watch, particularly during one of the overnight hours, call Bobby and
Jessica at 845-429-0320 or email us at [email protected].

WORLD DAY FOR CONSECRATED LIFE
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH
8:30 AM COUNTY-WIDE MASS
ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI
PARROTT ROAD, WEST NYACK
MAKE A VISIT TO OUR PARISH CHURCH
Msgr. Emmet Nevin, Dean of Rockland, will be
the principal celebrant and homilist. A brunch
will follow in the parish hall. Consecrated
religious from all around our region will be in attendance. All are invited.
Please continue to pray for an increase in
vocations to the religious life.
The Lord invites you His house, your house, every day
throughout the year. Come and enjoy some quiet time
to pray and to just be in His presence. Scripture shows
how Jesus, Himself, at times, needed to “get away.”
He went into the desert or he went up the mountain to
pray, Why don’t you? Please stop by for a visit!

FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS CAMPAIGN
ONE WEEK EXTENSION
Oops! Forgot to bring in your food donation? You may still bring it in throughout the upcoming
week. We would like to urge everyone, whose financial
means allow, to join the Archdiocesan wide effort to
reach out to those who are in need by bringing in bags
of food or donating money.
As in the past, we will have placed a large collection box in the rear of the church and we invite you
to place your food donations into the box.
Last year they estimated more than 750,000
meals were collected. This year they are trying for over
a million. Food collected here will stay here for distribution to the needy of Rockland via our own St. Paul
Food Pantry. Make a ten dollar donation by texting
“CCHOPE” to 85944. Each dollar supports four meals.
