PRESIDENT’S LETTER
The Hay Burner
Nevada County Horsemen, Inc.
FEB 1, 2015
VOLUME 15 ISSUE 2
How time files. This January has not shed a drop
of rain and it feels like spring is in the air.
Tony tells me that our arena has been getting
quite a bit of use by many of our members. With
no water on the ground please try not to make too
much dust as a courtesy to our neighbors.
We had a good turnout for our January meeting.

informative presentation about her organization.

3 COMMITTES
We will be putting out
the committee sign up
forms soon. Please keep
in mind that we are
trying to raise money to
fix the floor in the club
house and fix the
bleachers. The two
things together are going
to cost about $10,000 if
we hire all the work
done. We made about
$7500 in 2014 on
Gymkhana and our cow
events. Arena events are
our main money makers
after the rentals.
Getting people willing to
put on Barrel racing,
gymkhana and cow
events is very important
to the club, and fixing
the club house is the
best way to get more
renters.
