favor ponga sus chicles en los botes de basura que
están aun lado de la entrada de la Iglesia, en lugar de
tirarlos en los escalones o en la Iglesia. Gracias

call, especially our parish's seminarians,
Martin Amaro, Emmanuel Torres and
Isidro Negrete.
Por favor, rueguen por todos los que estan aceptando el
llamado de Dios. En especial los seminaristas de nuestra Parroquia, Martin Amaro, Emmanuel Torres y Isidro Negrete.
Heavenly Father, You have created each of us to love You and
Your people. You have chosen some to serve by responding to
the particular call to diocesan priesthood and religious life.
Send Your Holy Spirit to stir the hearts of those You have designed to follow this path of spiritual leadership. We pray this
petition, faithful and most gracious God, in the name of Your
Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

As a young man, the last thing Fr. Joshua Waltz ever thought he would be was
a Catholic priest. But a series of choices—some bad and some good—
ultimately led him to enter the seminary.
In this talk, Fr. Waltz shares an incredible vocation story that involves heartbreak, robbers,
Europe, and several miracles—all showing that there is
nothing more exciting than a life lived for Jesus Christ.

Focus this spring in Little Rock will be on renewed efforts to
build up Christ's army of prayer warriors to keep vigil, not just
for 40 days at a time, but throughout the year. The first campaign here in 2008 resulted in a small group of people who
asked “Why stop now?” Many babies' lives have been saved
through the prayers offered on the sidewalk at the abortion
clinic, but more people and prayers are needed. Dozens of
lives are ended each week in our community; is God asking
you to join us? For just one hour a week? All lives matter and
the tragedy of abortion must end. For more information call
Marsha Boss 960-5051.
GriefShare Support Group Starting: The GriefShare program
that features biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on
grief topics associated with the death of a loved one is set to
begin at Holy Souls Church on February 7th. Many grieving people find that they are only beginning the work of healing when
friends and family have returned to their daily life routines. Too
often people tend to stuff their grief inside instead of allowing it
to do the God given work for which it is intended. Don’t allow
fear of what others may think to keep you from what could help
you. Your bereavement experience may be recent or not so recent. You will find encouragement, comfort and help in grieving
the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member, or friend. No matter what the cause of your loved one’s
death, this is an opportunity to be around others who will understand what you are feeling. You will learn valuable information
about facing your new normal in life and renewing your hope for
the future. Please call the Holy Souls church office 501-6638632 and speak with Laura Humphries to register for the group.
The group will start on Saturday, February 7th from 9:30am to
11:00am in the Parish Hall and meet every other Saturday
morning for 13 weeks. A $10 donation for the workbook will be
appreciated.
SAVE THE DATE!
Arkansas Right to Life and Black Arkansans for Life will host a
special event with Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr., on February 18th, Ash Wednesday. This is a “Don't
Miss” opportunity to hear one of our country's leading pro-life
voices. Watch the bulletin for more details.
