CALL FOR PAPERS
mUSme
5th International Symposium on Multibody
Systems and Mechatronics 2014
October 21 - 24, 2014 Huatulco, México
The aim of the Symposium is to bring together researchers from the broad ranges of disciplines referring to
Multibody Systems and Mechatronics, in an intimate, collegial and stimulating environment. MuSMe 2014
Symposium is one of the activities of the FeIbIM Commission for Mechatronics and IFToMM Technical
Committees for Multibody Dynamics, and Robotics and Mechatronics.
The Symposium will be held at the Universidad del Mar (SUNEO) in Huatulco, Mexico.
TOPICS
Because of the inherently multidisciplinary nature
of Multibody Systems and Mechatronics, the scope
of the topics in the congress is necessarily broad,
but within the science of motion. Papers include
subjects on Multibody kinematics and dynamics and
Mechatronics and are not limited to the following
topics:
-Analysis and synthesis of mechanisms
-Dynamics of multibody systems
-Design algorithms for mechatronic systems
-Simulation procedures and results
-Prototypes and their performance
-Robots and micromachines
-Experimental validations
-Theory of mechatronic simulation
-Mechatronic systems
-Control of mechatronic systems

LOCATION, ACCOMMODATION AND
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Universidad del Mar is located at the city of
Huatulco (or Bahias de Huatulco) in Oaxaca,
Mexico http://huatulco.com.mx/ Huatulco is a
tourist development located on the Pacific coast of
Mexico. It is centered on nine bays that offers warm
weather with a yearly average temperature of 28
C (82.4 F) and a clearly sky almost year-round.
As a tourism development, Huatulco has hotels for
all tastes and budgets. In all the cases, it is important
to remark the cheap cost (accommodation and
food) for international visitors when it is compared
with cities in Europe or U.S. Early reservation is
recommended by contacting directly hotels. A list of
hotels will be sent to the authors and to registered
persons.
Huatulco has an international airport, http://www.
asur.com.mx which is served nationally from
Mexico City international airport (50 minutes) and
other Mexican airports. Internationally, American
airlines and United Airlines fly here from the U.S.,
