kindergarten at Thomas Jefferson Elementary, we are now taking registration forms for the 2017-18 school
year. Registration materials are available in the school office. If you know a neighbor or friend who has a

SAFETY PATROL THANK YOU
Congratulations to Tyler L., Layla H., Hannah Y., Dan'l S. and Danick C. for being honored as
outstanding safety patrols at Thomas Jefferson Elementary. Tyler will be representing Thomas
Jefferson on a trip to St. Louis and Layla, Hannah, Dan'l and Danick will enjoy a day trip to the
Wisconsin Dells. They will join many other outstanding patrols from the Wausau area on these
exciting trips.
In addition, a BIG thank you to all the fourth and fifth grade students who spent endless hours
outside this year keeping Jefferson students safe. All the safety patrols will be honored at a
special presentation of the Wausau West Pop Concert on May 17th and a day of fun at The Lodge
at Cedar Creek on May 19th.
SUMMER LEARNING
2017
Summer Learning will again be at
Thomas Jefferson from June 12 –

be given to parents during
parent/teacher conferences next
week or you can register online at
https://wausau.revtrak.net.
UPDATE YOUR FAMILY INFORMATION
It is very important that we have accurate home
information for our families. If we have a student who is
sick or injured, it is crucial to be able to contact the parent
or guardian. Please make sure that we have updated cell
and home phone numbers for all of the parents, guardians,
and emergency contacts. Many parent contacts are now
done via email. Please update the office with a current
email address.
Thank you for your help in keeping our information as
accurate as possible.

THE FACTS OF LICE

Did you know …
