PROJECT RACHEL
Healing from an abortion can be a long process, often due to
the horrific experience and society's denial of the pain. The
Catholic church offers neither judgment nor condemnation,
but a healing process through attending a support group,
follow-up group sessions and two retreats for one or more
years. Each retreat is attended by approximately 20-40
women and men ranging from the ages of 25-65 years
old. The next retreat is November 7th-9th. Please see the
bulletin for further details. The representative for this
apostolate is Kathy Miller, [email protected] .
The deadline to respond is October 17, 2014.
All items for the bulletin must be turned in by Monday at
12:00 noon. Please send notice to: [email protected]

Catholic Parish Outreach serve the less fortunate in our
community by taking a bag and returning it on October 18th
and 19th. If you have any questions or would like to help with
this project, please call Lynn Avery at 919-332-8266.

the girls took 1st!! Congratulations to our top-placing
Wildcats - Rocky was the fifth-place boy, and Lucy WON
the girls' race. All Wildcats raced with heart and all made
us proud!

40 DAYS
FOR
LIFE
40 Days For Life is a peaceful, non-denominational,
international pro-life initiative that focuses on 40 days
of prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil at the abortion
facilities.
God has a plan for each of these women and their
babies. They need to know they have been blessed by
God. Whatever they did to get to this point, God
brought some good out of it. Whether they decide to be
a birth mother for a loving adoptive family or raise the
child themselves with support, their “yes” will please
God and bring them joy and grace.
