END-OF-YEAR DONATIONS: The holiday season and the
end of the year are fast approaching. In this season of giving,
there are multiple ways to make charitable contributions to St.
James Parish. Investments that have appreciated in value
(stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc.) can be directly gifted to the
church. IRA Required Minimum Distributions (for individuals
over 70.5 years) may also be directly gifted to the church this
year. These forms of giving may provide certain tax benefits
and could be a very efficient way for you to help our

the Conway community tree lighting which will
take place at 6:00PM in front of the old court

cremated, may light luminaries beside the lake or on the

items on display in the hallway near the church

The seventh grade religious
class invites you to honor or
someone this Christmas season.

Funds raised will help with Jr. High Rally expenses.
For a donation of $5.00 or more for each loved one, the 7th
grade religious education class will hang a personalized
ornament on the Remembrance Tree on the bulletin board
near the chapel. The 7th grade religious education class will
pray for those honored or remembered throughout the holiday
season. An acknowledgement Christmas card will be sent to
the family of the honored or remembered person, notifying
them of your gift. For more information, please contact Leann
Hill at 236-2780. Donations may be mailed to the church,
placed in the black wire basket outside of the religious
education office, or dropped in the box in the gathering
space.

D”s Restaurant (formerly Nibbles), 3301 North Kings Highway in

at 6:30PM. The price of admission is a $10 donation plus a
contribution of a baby gift such as diapers, clothes or

BUS TO STATE MARCH FOR LIFE ON JANUARY 10, 2015:
Grand Strand Citizens for Life will again provide a bus to the
State March for Life in Columbia on Saturday, January 10,
2015. The bus will leave the Walmart Shopping Center on 544/
ByPass 17 at 6:30AM. Pick up in Myrtle Beach is at 7:00AM in
the old Myrtle Square Shopping Center across from the
Convention Center. Pick up in Conway is at 7:30AM at Belks
on Hwy. 501. Please note that pickup points are the same as
they have been in the past. If you wish to go you must make
reservations by calling Lori Videan at 843-503-3607. A total
payment of $10 is required to reserve your seat and pay for
your fare. Make checks payable to GSCL.

¿Se te cayo algo en el
corredor? Tenemos muchos artículos en nuestra caja
de cosas perdidas y encontradas, que están en la
oficina de la parroquia. Próxima semana 7 Diciembre tendremos
una mesa llena de los artículos perdidos en el corredor cerca de
la oficina de la iglesia. Détente y ve si puedes
encontrar las llaves, la sombrilla, los lentes, la
chamarra, etc, perdidios. Los artículos que no sean
reclamados seran donados.
MISAS Y CONFESIONES: Todos los martes hay confesiones
en español a la 7:00PM, Rosario en comunidad 7:30PM y la
Misa a las 8:00PM. Los domingos 11:30AM Rosario en
comunidad y la Misa a las 12:00PM. Si quiere hacer una cita
para confesarse o recibir una ayuda espiritual del sacerdote
llame a la oficina de la parroquia o a la oficina del ministerio
hispano.

quieran donar sodas de lata para la fiesta de la Virgen,
pueden traerlas y entregarlas a en la oficina del ministerio
hispano antes del 7 de diciembre. También necesitamos
donadores de postres para el 12 de diciembre, y donadores
de tamales para las mañanitas. Los donadores hablen con la

ROSARIO EN FAMILIA CON LA VIRGEN PEREGRINA
La virgen peregrina está visitando los hogares desde
el 1 de Octubre al 2 de Diciembre como preparación
para la fiesta de la Virgen de Guadalupe.
Ya estamos en todos los preparativos para la fiesta
de la Virgen de Guadalupe.
La Virgen visitará una familia por día o una semana
por barrio. Por favor inscríbanse con los coordinadores del
Rosario en Familia, Bernardino y Gelacia Zacarías.
Invitamos a quienes van a participar en la carrera de antorcha
en Honor a la Virgen a que se inscriban lo más pronto posible
con Jaime García o Carmen Rodríguez. Necesitamos saber
con anticipación la cantidad de participantes, para poder
rentar los autobuses que vamos a necesitar y ordenar las
playeras. Se aceptarán en la antorcha a los jóvenes mayores
de 15 años, si van acompañados por uno de sus padres.
CORO DE NIÑOS: Se está organizando el coro
de los niños y niñas para la fiesta de la Virgen de
Guadalupe. Los padres que estén interesados
en que sus hijos participen inscríbanlos con Raúl
Lozano o con Giovanni de Paz, ellos estarán
coordinando el coro de los niños. Los ensayos serán los
domingos después de la Misa, 2:00PM en la capilla.
