Requirements for Baptism

Parents must be married in the Catholic Church.
If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must
make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before
they can have their children baptized.
3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of
Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three
sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and
Confirmation).
4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate
from the Church where they were married.
5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may
have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to
come.
6. To have your child baptized, contact Joan at 272-3463
to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.
7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month
after the 10am Mass.

St. Bede Book Club en Español
¡Están todos invitados a unirse al Book Club en
español! Vamos a comenzar el lunes 23 de enero
del 2017. El grupo se va a reunir dos lunes al mes
desde las 7:10pm hasta las 8:00pm en el Parish
Hall. El libro que vamos a leer es Tratado de la
VERDADERA DEVOCIÓN a la Santísima Virgen María
de San Luis María de Montfort. El libro lo pueden
comprar en la tienda de artículos religiosos.
El grupo es solamente para adultos mayores de
18 años que son parroquianos y miembros de
St. Bede, niños menores de 18 no pueden asistir
ni estar en el Parish Hall esperando durante la
sesión toma lugar. Gracias por su cooperación.
Los días que nos vamos a reunir son Febrero 13 y

in decorating the Church for

Who: Catholic Young Adults (age 21-39) in the
Montgomery area
What: A small group is a group of 10-12 people

community with other Catholic young adults. We
will have a men's group and a women's group.
When & Where: Small groups first begin with
a "Kickoff" on Tuesday, January 17th at
6:30pm in Holy Spirit's Parish Hall. After the

respective time and location.
