month at the library. This FREE program is in it’s third year and will feature many
hands-on-activities related to experiments with science, art, technology, and delightful
ideas to tinker with. This year many of the activities are provided by the Iowa Governor’s
STEM Council. This month we will be using a camera and green screen to explore
movie effects.

The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is brought to you by Avera Holy Family
Hospital and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
It is a proven weight loss program that cuts your risk of developing diabetes in half.
The DPP begins on Wednesday January 11th, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the RWC. It will
run for 16 weeks 1/11/17-4/26/17, followed by monthly meetings until the end of the
year.
The class is fun, interactive, and informative!
The fee is $125.00 BUT you will get your $ back if you attend at least 80% of the
classes.
If this is a financial hardship and you want to attend, please let us know.
