The football clubs have two objetives mainly: economic and sporting activities. The first is to obtain the best economic values in
different items, among wich are such items as the income, expenditure and market value. And the second to get the highest score
possible on the league that give you access to the highest possitions with the posbililty of accessing european competitions.

In the first part of work a number of questions arise. For example, how has envolved economically the Premier League and their
clubs in the period 2010-2015? Here comes a very interesting question with regard to the income of TV: how to split the Premier
League the economics rights of television in the clubs? To do this it is estimated the market concentration, wich sets some results
that show us an equitable distribution of income. In this way, most of the teams of the Premier League may face high costs in
signings and have teamplates more valuable.
In the second part arises if there is some kind of relationship between the sporting success (highest score in the league) and
economic variables. To respond to this question are used statistical techniques. The results show that there is a relationship
between some of the economic factors with the sporting success

Los clubes de fútbol tienen dos objetivos principalmente: el económico y el deportivo. El primero es obtener los mejores valores
económicos en diferentes partidas, entre las que se encuentran los ingresos, gastos y valor de mercado. Y el segundo en
conseguir la mayor puntuación en liga que le dé acceso a las posiciones más altas con la posibilidad de acceder a competiciones
europeas.

En la primera parte del trabajo se plantean diversas cuestiones. Por ejemplo, ¿ Cómo ha evolucionado la Premier League y sus
clubes en el periodo 2010-2015? Aquí interviene una pregunta muy interesante en cuanto a los ingresos de TV: ¿Cómo reparte la
Premier League los derechos económicos de televisión en los clubes? Para ello se calcula la concentración del mercado, la cual
establece unos resultados que nos indican un reparto equitativo de los ingresos. De este modo, la mayoría de los equipos de la
Premier League pueden afrontar gastos elevados en fichajes y tener plantillas más valiosas.
En la segunda parte se plantea si existe algún tipo de relación entre el éxito deportivo (mayor puntuación en liga) y las variables
económicas. Para responder a esta pregunta se utilizan técnicas estadísticas. Los resultados muestran que sí existe una relación
entre algunos de los factores económicos con el éxito deportivo.
