Zona Centro: Most of the area of this district of the city is protected as a Historical
Site, called Antiguo Santa Cruz because in this area you will find a very distinguished
portion of its architectural heritage that represents the city's historical essence. By
strolling through its streets we can contemplate examples of everything from native
Canary Island architecture to works belonging to the eclecticism of the early 20th
century.

· Today Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be holding a celebration of culture, music, entertainment
and food.
· For 12 hours, from 10:00 to 00:00, more than 130 events will be held on 19 outdoor
stages and in closed venues.
· Twelve closed venues in the capital will host a total of 51 events for all ages, most of which
are free.
· Events will take place from the César Manrique Maritime Park to the Almeyda Museum
and from Rambla de Santa Cruz to Plaza de España.

ZONA RAMBLA In this zone we can appreciate the great urban development the city
underwent from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century as a result of the
socioeconomic climate of the time.
PLACES OF INTEREST:
RAMBLA DE SANTA CRUZ With its central tree-lined promenade, this is the largest
avenue in the Canary Islands. Along the Rambla you can see many of the sculptures
from the First International Street Sculpture Exhibition.
Park Parque García Sanabria, Interpretation Centre of the First and Second
International Street Sculpture Exhibitions (Paraue García Sanabria), Historical

LUXURY ROUTE: Calle Pérez Galdós, calle Suárez Guerra, calle El Pilar, centro Comercial Bulevar, calle La Rosa and nearby streets. Enjoy shopping in the most exclusive area,
where you can find all kinds of stores offering clothing, accessories, footwear, jewellery, watches, perfumes... This route contains a great number of boutiques showcasing leading
brands, with exquisite service and a wide range of unique designs.
FASHION ROUTE: In the heart of the city you will find Calle Castillo and the nearby streets, a traditional shopping area with all kinds of international franchises and fashion retail
chains. The route follows this street, which begins in Plaza de Candelaria and ends at Plaza Weyler.
RAMBLA SHOPPING ROUTE: Route that takes in the city’s two ramblas (boulevards), where you will find a wide range of businesses to suit all tastes: clothing, footwear,
houseware, jewellery, or bars and restaurants. The route goes from Plaza Weyler to Rambla de Santa Cruz and runs the length of Rambla de Pulido and includes nearby streets.
And as you stroll along the Rambla de Santa Cruz you can enjoy a great open air sculpture exhibition, making your shopping trip an enjoyable cultural outing. You can reach the
route on foot from Plaza Weyler, by tram or on the Tour Bus.

CANARY ISLAND WINE FESTIVAL: consists of stands where from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. you can sample

The Santa Cruz sightseeing bus follows a route that takes approximately one hour, with
thirteen stops that take in the city’s main sights. The ticket is valid for 24 hours, during
which time you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want. Inside the bus
we will provide you with headphones to listen to the audio guide, which is available in 7
languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian) with a
version for children also available. The ticket price also includes guided tours, entry to
the major attractions of the city, and other promotions.
