CONFESIÓN (MGV)
Unísono: Llegamos al momento, oh Dios, en que confesamos aquellas
cosas que hemos hecho o dicho que nos separan de ti y de otras personas.
No hemos amado como tú lo deseas. No nos hemos comprometido como tú
lo pides. Hemos rechazado a otras personas. Hemos codiciado lo que no
nos pertenece o lo que no podemos tener. Sin embargo, lo peor que
hacemos es no reconocer lo mucho que necesitamos tu misericordia y tu
perdón y la deuda tan grande que tenemos contigo.
Ayúdanos a reconocer nuestro pecado y a vivir en eterna gratitud por el
regalo de tu misericordia. Permite que, como la mujer en casa de Simón,
podamos darte nuestra vida como ofrenda fragante en respuesta al amor
que nos demuestras cada día. En el nombre de tu hijo Jesús, que nos
recuerda cada día tu misericordia, hemos orado. Amén.

CONFESSION (MGV)
Unison: We have come to the moment, O God, when we confess those
things that we have done or said that separate us from you and from
others. We have not loved as you want us to. We have not committed as
you have asked us. We have rejected others. We have coveted what is not
ours or what we cannot have. However, the worst thing we do is not
recognizing how much we need your mercy and forgiveness and the large
debt we have with you.
Help us to recognize our sin and to live in eternal gratitude for the gift of
your mercy. Allow us to give our lives to you as a fragrant offering in
response to the love you show us every day, just like the women in Simon’s
house did. In the name of your son Jesus, who every day reminds us of
your mercy, we pray. Amen.
