The Titanium AOP technology it is based in titanium dioxide (TIO2), key element for the water purification
process.
The method resides in the activation as a catalyst, of the titanium dioxide (TIO2) by exposing this element
to UV radiation. This way we can achieve a series of chemical reactions causing the generation of
enormous quantities of OH hydroxyl radical. This is called Heterogeneous Photo-catalytic Reaction.
Our system consists of a reactor completely fabricated in (TIO2) with UV lamps inside, when water flows
through the reactor it is exposed to the photo-catalytic reaction causing the generation of OH and oxidising
all microorganisms up to 99,9% in the water, virus, bacteria, etc. It also reduces heavy metals like arsenic,
mercury, brome, lead, as well as herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceutical and petro-chemical contaminants.

The efficiency of the process it is based on the oxidation capacity along with the extraordinary reaction
velocity of OH hydroxyl radical, both intrinsic worth very superior to any other molecule or ion and UV
radiation.
The OH hydroxyl radical is the second most powerful oxidation molecule in nature behind fluorine F2.
It has the adequate properties to attack all organic components and react from 106 a 1012 times faster than
other alternative oxides like ozone O3.
Our reactors produce an intensive oxidation process at a great velocity making our reactors the most
advanced and effective water treatment technology on the market.
The disinfection by oxidation of the UV radiation that takes place inside the reactors by the OH, affects the
RNA/DNA of viruses, bacteria and any other microorganisms destroying them up to 99,9% depending on
the time of exposure inside the reactor.
At the same point it absolutely does not affect the physical or chemical properties of water and does not
alter the pH of water, therefore water preserves colour, odour and taste making this technology perfect for
human and animal’s drinking water and irrigation. It has also been recognise by the United Kingdom and
legislation of Scotland proved by the certification WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme).
