St. Brendan’s celebrates 7 Masses every weekend, 5 in English and 2 in Spanish. Additionally, we celebrate 10 Daily Masses, 9 in English and 1 in Spanish. We celebrate at least 5 hours of bilingual reconciliation each week and other times by appointment. We have established 23 hours of Adoration each week, beginning Tuesday after the evening Mass until just before the Wednesday evening Mass. The Rosary is recited daily each weekday morning right after Mass. We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet in Spanish each Sunday before the 1PM Spanish Mass. All this seems to happen without any effort, yet it takes many volunteers to offer these Sacraments and services to our parishioners. Volunteers fill roles such as Sacristans, Lectors, Ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Altar Servers, Welcome Desk staff and Ministry coordinators. Clergy are required for the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation, as well as for Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals which round out the Liturgical activities. Countless hours are spent serving the Lord each week. If you would like to be a participant in any of these service roles, please contact the Parish office at 770 205 7969. Opportunities are available right now for both English and Spanish speakers. The service is generally set according to your personal availability and the rewards are out of this world!
